I love reading news sites. Yes, I know not to expect a feminist perspective. Heck, I don't even expect a non-misogynistic perspective. Sometimes I read things and have no reaction that makes sense in words; instead, it's a combination of sounds and facial expressions that can be summed up in "wtf?" But other times still, I'm not appalled so much at the perspective, or the angle of a story, or anything like that, but the actual people the story is talking about.
Such is the case with this piece: Gay Day of Silence a Waste of Tax Dollars, Critics Say.
A story such as this just makes me pout slightly and think to myself "wow, I really hate people sometimes..."
I keep telling myself I will stop reading the news. It's incredible how much sadness and anger can be triggered simply because I want to stay informed of what's going on in the world.

I don't like the news simply because there are a lot of bad news.
