Since we've passed the halfway point, I wanted to share this video about the work of READ Foundation, the charity I'm supporting for Blogathon.

I mentioned earlier that one of the reasons I chose READ is because they understand the importance of peer mentorship, and I think this video really exemplifies that. The little kids get to work on their reading and that's, of course, the mission of the organization. The fact that the teens get to work on their leadership skills and their own literacy skills is also great. But the fact that a bond can form between the teen and the child just warms my heart.
