Alright, so in case you have completely missed my posts this week, here's the basic info: I'll be blogging every 30 minutes for the next 24 hours in order to raise money for READ Foundation, an organization that trains teens to tutor little kids in reading.

So far, I'm up to $154 in sponsorship pledges, but my goal is $250, so there's still some way to go. There's still time to sponsor me! In fact, you can do it at any time during the blogathon, so stick around and decide later if you'd like. Every dollar counts, and I gush with joy at every sponsorship. (No, really, like I do a happy dance and everything! I think for one of them, I even did the cabbage patch!)

I wanna let folks know my draft schedule for the day. It's a bit of everything, as I hinted at in my last post. I've got some feminist analysis on fun and not-so-fun things for the first few hours, then a music break. I then have planned some posts on literacy, followed by another music break and a little more feminist analysis. Then I've got a grab-bag of topics that are neither feminist nor literacy-related to mix it up a bit. After a blog-hopping break at the 12-hour mark, it's back to the regularly scheduled programming. For the wee hours (or what are the wee hours here in NYC), I have a lot of fun, but still analytical posts so that I can keep my brain sharp and my body moving. (I'm actually really excited about this part, so you should definitely tune in.) For the very end, I'm keeping it balanced with lots of music breaks, broken up by book, movie, and tv reviews.

It sounds even more ambitious when I lay it all out like that, but I'm hoping that telling you all will keep me accountable!

So buckle up and get ready for the ride!
