Alrighty y'all, you'll be happy to know I'm still alive! Yippee! I haven't been keeping up with the blogosphere as of late. The good thing is I've been going to the gym and keeping my physical and mental health in check (something I've never been particularly good at). The bad thing is that I've also been struggling to keep up with all my various responsibilities because they are just all happening at the same time and at the same speed.
So I've got a few posts in draft form right now, but I wanted to let my faithful readers know what I'll be up to over the next week or so because it might affect my blogging (either positively or negatively depending on how my planning goes).
This weekend I'm flying across the country to California for the first time in my life. I'm excited but it's actually more work than pleasure. I'm going for the WITI 20th Anniversary Summit so I can sharpen my social media skills for my various professional endeavors. Anyhoo, I do hope that having a little bit of downtime will help me finish up some posts I've started and abandoned. Is anybody else going to the WITI conference? Email me so we can hook up!
And as I already announced a while back, I'll be flying out to Indiana for the NOW conference just as soon as I fly back home. I'm actually a bit more excited about that because I'll be on the feminist blogging panel! So definitely give me a shout if you'll be there and I hope you'll come to the workshop. By the way, I never did find a roomie and conference buddy, so please do email me if you are going or want to go but have no place to stay.
I'll be live tweeting both as much as I can, and possibly writing some sort of recap when my brain processes all of it.
More soon, I promise! In the meantime, what have all of you been up to?

Phew I was starting to wonder. Thought you decided reality wasn't good enough for you anymore. Hopefully things are too hectic to handle.

Hey, lady! Congrats on being invited on the panel! How did it go? I gotta say: as much as I'm looking forward to being a mom, it's left me too drained to keep in contact with politics and the world at large. I want details on your awesome feminist adventures!
